In a communist society in 2148, the Ederlezi Corporation plans a space mission to the Alpha Centauri star system. The company picks Milutin (Coincidentally, we also have a love doll head called Milutin.), a skilled cosmonaut, but asks that he take Nimani(maybe a companion robot), an android engineered to obey the cosmonaut's wishes and to monitor his performance aboard the spacecraft. Milutin opposes the idea since he has had negative encounters with women in the past but eventually gives into his curiousity of what Nimani might look like.
Nimani is activated throughout the journey and Milutin explores with her programmings. He thought that she was too artificial and obedient, not like the human women he met, but more like a love doll with a mannequin head. Milutin becomes bored and arranges a scenario where she behaves as a youthful first time lover, in which he forces himself onto her.
Milutin finds that Nimani has a parallel operating system based on experiences moulded by interactions with the user, and that he can remove her pre-programmed limits if he can acquire advanced access, which is blocked by the ship's onboard computer. The two characters grow intimately entangled - when Milutin initiates an argument scenario, he sees that she is starting to behave beyond her routines, and exhibits emotions in the conversation. Determined to find out whether her sentiments are genuine or programmed, he pushes the spacecraft into a tailspin, which causes the ship's computer grant him enhanced access.
He deletes the software imbedded in her and rather than being appreciative for releasing her from her limits, she responds badly to his deletion of her root programming and refuses his love. Milutin sinks into despair as Nimani rejects his attempts. In order to sustain the mission goals, Nimani seeks to befriend Milutin and conveys her awareness of Milutin's intention to give her free choice and make her more like a human.
Realizing that she is the source of his melancholy, she resolves to self-destruct to improve Milutin's mental health. Milutin is astonished to see her sobbing before to self-destruction, and is informed by the ship's computer that emotional reaction prior to self-destruction was not pre-programmed but spontaneous. He is distraught, but is informed that he can rescue her by charging her internal battery, which entails a space walk which can potentially cause radiation sickness. Milutin is able to charge the battery and successfully reawaken Nimani, but dies before witnessing Nimani’s awakening. Nimani hugs and kisses Milutin as the ship goes ahead. It is uncertain if Milutin lives.
Stoya's nudity aside, the movie is quite thought provoking, particularly once the companion robot gained sentience (crying when she wasn't programmed to). I believe Nimani genuinely began to have feelings for her human companion, especially when she saw that Milutin had to put his own life on the line to save her.

This script was much too lengthy for 85 minutes. Visuals (despite being 75% redundant and uninteresting) and sound/score were the greatest aspects of this film, in my opinion. Dimitrije Vojnov's script was abysmal, but Lazar Bodroza and Kosta Glusica's direction and photography saved the day.
This picture was severely harmed by a shoddy script. Basically, this was a sci-fi/soft-porn hybrid? No, this isn't the film to introduce a new genre. Then there's a massive spacecraft with a computer server in the center and a lot of open space. Unconvincing. Make things worse with pointless graphics/CGI, corny computer-generated speech, and unrelenting high school romance drama. In light of the fact that it was a low-budget international picture, I believe it should have been a shorter film. 20-30 minutes lengthy instead of the slow-paced, repeated love scenes and dull, useless discussion segments that stretched the film out to an agonizing 85 minutes. Considering that this film is an adaptation of Zoran Neskovic's 1980s short tale, I believe that the underlying theme might have been communicated more clearly and effectively in a shorter form.
Neither Sebastian Cavazza nor porn actress Stoya had much to do with the film's acting.
Would I suggest it to others? For the graphics, only if played on a large screen and muted with your favorite music playlist during a party. No, I don't think so. See the preceding answer.
